Educational Outreach and Distance Instruction (EODI)
is the department at Tech that oversees Distance Education offerings. Also included within EODI is the Community Education Department, offering recreational, enrichment, job training, and arts-related courses. Read EODI's Mission Statement.

Includes Banweb, the online course listing and registration application; the Distance Education Course Portal, Tech's custom application for student and faculty access to videos, course materials, quizzes, discussion boards; Adobe Connect, our videoconferencing program; Moodle, a course management system that supplements our Course Portal; and Mediasite, a lecture-capture system used in many classrooms.
From admission forms to Masters Degree advisory committee reports, add/drop, readmission, credit card authorization and more, most which can be filled online.
Thousands of e-books, e-journals, databases, and research guides are available online.
EODI also maintains the technology within the university's multimedia classrooms across campus, and provides routine recordings of many classes meeting in those rooms. The department assists students and potential employers to hold interviews via videoconferencing.
